Roundtree joins the Saluki staff this year after completing four years of eligibility for SIU.

While at SIU, Roundtree ran on the Missouri Valley Conference record-breaking distance medley relay team (11:44.48) during the 2001 indoor season.

She ran career bests last season in the 800 with times of 2:18.47 during indoor and 2:15.43 during outdoor. She also earned a P.R. in the 1000m indoor (3:05.52).

A native of Decatur, Ill., the St. Teresa High School grad was a member of the 4x800 state championship relay her senior year.

Roundtree graduated from SIU in the spring of 2002 with a degree in English.
