Grafton has proved to be a versitile athlete not only competing in hep events but also taking on the 400m hurdles plus other events.

Belvidere HS: She was a four-time state qualifier in the mile medley relay and was a member of the state qualifying 800m medley. Grafton set a new 300m hurdle school record (47.8). Grafton was a state qualifier in cross-country as well.
