CARBONDALE, Ill. - The Southern Illinois University softball team heads out this week for its fourth consecutive NCAA Tournament in Evanston, Ill.

The Salukis drew #13 Northwestern in the opening round and will play Friday at 2:30 p.m. Also in the regoinal with SIU are Notre Dame and the University of California - Santa Barbara.

The regional is a double-elimination setup with the winner of Friday's game playing again on Saturday at 11 a.m. while the loser plays Saturday at 1:30 p.m.
