CARBONDALE, Ill. - The Southern Illinois women's golf team will move its annual Saluki Invitational Tournament from Hickory Ridge Golf Course to Crab Orchard Golf Club, announced head coach Diane Daugherty.

The change comes following heavy rains in Carbondale, which left three greens at Hickory Ridge under water.

"Southern Illinois has had over 10 inches of rain in the past week and we are so grateful to Steve Heckel and Crab Orchard for hosting this year's event," said Daugherty. "With three greens at Hickory under water, Crab Orchard is hosting this tournament with less than one week notice."

The tournament is set to begin on Sunday and conclude with a final round on Monday.
