MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. - The Southern Illinois women's golf team finished in 13th place after shooting a team score of 314 on day two of the 2007 Myrtle Beach Classic.

The Salukis posted a total team score of 634 at the two-day tournament at the par 72, 6,136-yard Grande Dunes Golf Course.

Senior Kelly Gerlach was SIU's low scorer with a 152 (74-78), finishing in a tie for 30th place. Junior Christine Zoerlein finished second for the Salukis, shooting a 160 (80-80) and finishing in a tie for 60th.

Braidy Hood and Lauren May both posted scores of 161 (83-78) and finished in a tie for 64th. Rounding out the scoring for SIU was Kate Laegeler with a 166 (84-82), which placed her in a tie for 75th.
