URBANA, Ill. - The Southern Illinois women's golf team finished in a tie for second place at the Illini Spring Classic today in Urbana, Ill.

The Salukis posted round of 308 and 304 today to finish the tournament with a total of 933, tying them with Cincinnati.

Kelly Gerlach (83-76-72--231) and Christine Zoerlein (78-80-73--231) finished the tournament tied for fifth place.

Lauren May finished the tournament in a tie for 10th with a total of 234 (81-72-81). Braidy Hood rounded out SIU's scoring in the play-five, count-four tournament, tying for 21st with a three-round total of 237 (79-80-78).

Also competing for SIU was Danielle Kaufman, who shot an 86-81-82--249 to tie for 49th.

The Salukis will be back in action Sunday, April 13 through Tuesday, April 15 at the Missouri Valley Conference Tournament in Omaha, Neb.
