Post player who has the skills to face up or work with her back to the basket... is developing an all-around game and appears to be a diamond in the rough...runs the court well and should be a nice addition to the Salukis' inside game...battled injury as a freshman...her size, mobility and that she's left-handed brings a different picture to the Saluki post game.

Battled injury play in 18 games, starting six...averaged 2.8 points, 3.3 boards per game...added eight blocks...scored a career-high 11 points at Bradley (2/2/06)...tallied a career-high 11 boards at Creighton (2/17/06).

As a Prep

Averaged 15 points per game as her team's leading scorer at Millard North High School under coach Jeffrey Ritz...tabbed second-team all-state and MVP of Metro Area All-Star Game as a senior...finished prep career as the Mustangs' all-time career leader in field goal percentage and blocked shots...also ranks among top-five career leaders in scoring (4th) and rebounding (4th).

Full name is Gentry Faye Dietz...majoring in Psychology...born May 22, 1987...daughter of Craig and Trish Dietz...has a twin sister, Merritt, who is a thrower on the track team at Oklahoma State.
