Played at highly rated Whitney M. Young High School...has seen true athleticism and had to guard it...an undersized four player with great speed, athleticism, mobility, versatility and strength..also a lefty, giving SIU another dimension.

As a junior averaged 3.5 points and 2.4 boards per game, shooting 55.4 percent from the field at Whitney M. Young High School...team finished 28-2, finishing third at state in 2006.
