Pre-SIU: Set career indoor best of 58-0.25 in the weight throw and career indoor best of 53-8 in the shot put at SIU-Edwardsville...attended Rend Lake College, where he placed 10th in the shot put and 11th in the weight throw at the Junior College Indoor Nationals...tossed record breaking throws of 148-10 in the discus and 155-2 in the javelin...owns all the throwing records at RLC and was a six-time super regional champion...named all-conference in the discus, shot put, 4x100 and 4x200 at Altamont Community High School...qualified for the state meet in the discus...also qualified for state as a member of the golf team.
