The incoming recruiting class for the Saluki men's tennis program has been rated No. 19 in the nation by a prominent recruiting website.

Tennisrecruiting.net ranked the Southern Illinois duo of Eric West and Jordan Snyder among the best at the mid-major level. The major conferences for tennis include schools affiliated with Bowl Championship Series conferences - the ACC, Big East, Big 10, Big 12, Pac 10, and SEC - as well as the Ivy League.

"It is an honor to be noted as having a top 25 recruiting class," said fourth-year head coach Dann Nelson. "We are very excited about Eric and Snyder joining our program. Both are not only good players and good students, but excellent people as well."

SIU is the only Missouri Valley Conference school listed in the rankings.
