CARBONDALE, Ill. - The Southern Illinois University men's and women's tennis teams are holding summer camps in June and July. The first camp will take place June 9-12 for residents and commuters. A second camp will be held June 30-July 3 for commuters grades 5-12. Each camp will be six hours a day of tennis as well as various other activities.

"Dann Nelson and I are excited about offering an overnight camp to young tennis players," said head coach Aurda Nothwehr. "Some of my favorite memories are from attending camps like these. You get to meet a lot of new people who also have a passion for tennis and get a lot of good pointers from players and coaches. I want to give that experience to other kids."
