CARBONDALE, Ill. - Seven Southern Illinois University basketball games will be televised by Mediacom cable this season, according to Will Patterson, general manager for Saluki Sports Properties.

Six men's games and one women's game are featured in the package. Announcers Scott Warmann and Darren Kinnard return to call the action. The men's schedule begins on Dec. 5, when SIU plays at Saint Louis. The men's television slate also includes road games at Bradley (Jan. 1), Evansville (Jan. 16), Indiana State (Jan. 28) and Missouri State (Feb. 10), plus a home game versus Bradley on Jan. 20.

The women's broadcast will be the Northern Iowa home game on Feb. 5. That contest has been selected for the team's annual "Pack the House" event.

"We are again excited that our television partnership with MediaCom allows us to televise seven Saluki basketball games again this year," Patterson said. "With all of the excitement surrounding this year's teams, this will be an excellent way for Saluki fans to follow the action."
