CARBONDALE, Ill. - Season tickets for the 2008-09 Saluki men's basketball season are on-sale now. Adult season tickets start at only $150, with discounts available for youth and University faculty/staff.

Season-ticket holders receive substantial savings versus single-game prices, the same great seat all season long, as well as priority to purchase additional single-game and postseason tickets.

This season will see an increase in the availability of the "Big Dawg" seats. The seats, which are 2" wider than those in other sections, are now available in three additional sections of SIU Arena (GG, OO and DD). The price for a Big Dawg season ticket is only $160.

In addition to the always challenging Missouri Valley Conference slate, the Salukis will play non-conference games versus Charlotte, Saint Louis and Western Michigan. The schedule will feature at least 17 home games this season.

New season tickets are available by calling the SIU Arena ticket office at 618-453-2000 or 877-SALUKIS.

For the first time, Saluki Athletics will be offering payment plan options for season-ticket buyers. Two and three-payment options are available by calling the SIU Arena Ticket Office at 618-453-2000 or 877-SALUKIS. These payment options will give season ticket buyers the benefit of ordering early to get the best available seats and stretching payments over two or three months.

Season-ticket holders will have the opportunity to buy single-game tickets during an exclusive pre-sale prior to the general public on-sale on Oct. 8.
