CARBONDALE, Ill. - Southern Illinois University senior designated hitter Adam Hills and junior pitcher Cody Adams were named to the 2008 State Farm Missouri Valley Conference All-Tournament Team.

Hills, who hails from Colorado Springs, Colo., hit .667 (8-for-12) with two runs scored, a double and three RBI to lead the Salukis to a third-place finish in this year's tourney. Hills had four of his hits against Missouri State Friday.

A native of Viola, Ill., Adams struck out seven and allowed just three runs in 8.2 innings to key SIU's opening round victory over Northern Iowa on May 21.

Hills and Adams are SIU's first all-tournament picks since 2005.
