CARBONDALE, Ill. - Southern Illinois University senior infielder Tyler Lairson made the College Baseball Foundation's All-Star Lineup and was named the Heartland's Regional Hitter-of-the-Week by CollegeBaseballHub.com.

A native of Richmond, Ind., Lairson hit a stifling .818 (9-for-11) with three runs scored, four doubles, two RBI and a walk in three games against Indiana State last weekend. Lairson, who collected multiple-hits in all three games, had a career-high four in Sunday's series finale. His batting average was the best in the Missouri Valley Conference last week.

Lairson is the first Saluki to garner either of the two weekly honors this season.
