At SIU: Ran in six outdoor meets in 2007...won the Missouri Valley Conference title in the 10,000-meter run...finished third in the 5,000-meter run to earn his second all-conference accolade...finished in the top-10 in six of eight outdoor performances as a freshman, and posted two meet titles...ran in all seven SIU cross country meets in 2006, never finishing below 25th...won the Bradley Classic and finished second at the SIU Early Bird.

Pre-SIU: Cross country and track Most Valuable Player at Triad High School...broke school records in the 800m, 1600m and 3200m, as well as cross country three-mile record...two-time state qualifier in the 4x800 and 3200m...personal bests in the 800m and 1600m are 1:56 and 4:15, respectively.
