CARBONDALE, Ill. - The Southern Illinois track and field teams send four athletes to the 2009 NCAA National Championships hosted by the University of Arkansas at John McDonnell Field beginning Wednesday, June 10.

Gwen Berry and Sasha Leeth will compete in the women's hammer. The qualifying round will take place Wednesday, finals on Friday.

Two-time All-American Bianca Stuart will compete in her final championships in the long jump. The senior will compete in the qualifying round Wednesday, finals Thursday.

On the men's side, cross country All-American Jeff Schirmer will compete in the 10,000-meter run final Thursday night.

Wednesday - Day One
1 p.m. Women's Hammer Throw Qualifying
7:30 p.m. Women's Long Jump Qualifying

Thursday - Day Two
4:45 p.m. Women's Long Jump Final
9:45 p.m. Men's 10,000-meter Run Final

Friday - Day Three
11 a.m. Women's Hammer Throw Final
