At SIU:

MVC Scholar-Athlete in 2005 and 2006...earned all-conference honors after finishing second in the 1500-meter run at the 2006 MVC Outdoor Championships...ran in 10 meets during the indoor and outdoor seasons, placing among the top-five seven times...picked up nine top-10 finishes in 10 meets during indoor and outdoor competition...finished fourth in the mile at the 2005 MVC Indoor Championships...finished seventh in the 3000-meter run at the 2004 MVC Indoor Championships...ran a time of 18:14 at the 2003 MVC Cross Country Championships, which was third-best on the team...2004 all-MVC performer in cross country...registered four top-20 finishes during the 2005 cross country season.

Pre-SIU:

Four-time track and cross country state qualifier at Mt. Vernon High School...four-time conference and sectional champion in the 1600-meter run...two-time all-state pick in the 1600-meter run...also took all-state honors in the 4x800-meter relay...won regional cross country championship...holds school records in the 1600-meter (5:03.79), indoor 1600-meter (5:06) and 3200-meter (11:15).

Carries a 3.79 GPA as an Elementary Education major...born Oct. 7, 1984...sister Katie is a member of the SIU softball team...daughter of Scott and Gina Wagner.
