At SIU:

Competed in seven indoor and five outdoor meets in 2006, primarily in the hurdles...finished 11th in the 60-meter hurdles at the MVC Indoor Championships and ninth in the 100-meter hurdles at the MVC Outdoor Championships...in 2005, finished third in the 60-meter hurdles at the MVC Indoor Championships to earn all-conference honors...earned 12 top-10 finishes during indoor and outdoor competition...finished fifth in the 400-meter hurdles at the 2004 MVC Outdoor Championships...ranks second in school history in the indoor 60-meter hurdles.

Pre-SIU:

Four-time all-conference performer at Ruskin High School...garnered all-state honors in three of her four prep seasons...state champion in the high hurdles as a senior...also placed third in the low hurdles her final year as a prep...All-American Scholar, who received the National Leadership and Service Award.

Personal:

Holds a 3.28 GPA in Physiology...born Feb. 26, 1985...daughter of Donald and Darline Ward.
