The Saluki Sports Network -- the official radio network for Saluki Athletics -- is in place for the 2009-10 season. It will be comprised of nine stations, including the flagship station -- WVZA 105.1 FM, Carbondale.

The network provides fans in the entire southern Illinois region, as well as Missouri, Kentucky, Indiana and Illinois, the opportunity to hear games over the airwaves. In the St. Louis market, every broadcast will be carried live on WFFX 1490 AM.

The first scheduled broadcast for this season will be the football scrimmage on Thursday from 7-8 p.m. The network will also air "Lennon Live" -- the weekly coaches show -- live from Buffalo WildWings in Carbondale from 6-7 p.m. beginning Monday, Aug. 31.
