Student-Athlete Advisory Committee hosts first Saluki Kids Night Out April 4

CARBONDALE, Ill. - The Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) will host the first Saluki Kids Night Out at SIU Arena Friday, April 4 from 5:30 to 9 p.m. The Saluki Kids Night Out will give parents the opportunity to spend a night on the town while SIU student-athletes babysit at the SIU Arena. The event is open to kids ages 3-12, and costs a minimum of $5 per child as a donation, with a portion of the proceeds benefiting The Boys and Girls Club of Carbondale. Each child will also receive a free Saluki t-shirt for attending. For those interested, registration forms can be found on the Saluki Athletics Web site, www.SIUSalukis.com, under "Inside Saluki Athletics" heading.
